QR audio guide platform

A QR audio guide your visitors don't have to download.

Wexplo Sites is a QR-based audio guide platform for museums, parks, wineries, historic homes, and any paid-entry venue. Visitors scan, the audio plays in their browser, 14 languages, accessibility-ready, free tier.

A visitor in a rose garden holds a phone displaying the Wexplo audio guide for "Rosa Mister Lincoln, Hybrid Tea Rose", with language tabs (English, Español, Français) visible. A numbered wooden post with a QR code labelled "Scan to listen, 17" stands next to the rose bushes.
Outdoor stops, indoor stops, same QR pattern, visitors scan, pick a language, walk to the next.

How a Wexplo QR audio guide works

1

You build the stops in the dashboard.

Type or paste the script, attach a photo, hit Generate Audio. Wexplo turns it into a 14-language narrated experience, typically in under a minute per stop.

2

You print the QR codes onto signs.

Download a branded PDF, send it to your sign-maker (or use a label printer). Each stop has its own QR; the entry sign carries a master QR that opens the whole tour.

3

Visitors scan, listen, walk.

No download. No login. No app. The audio plays in their browser, in their language, with the option of transcript and pause/seek. They walk to the next sign at their own pace.

Frequently asked

Do my visitors need to download an app?

No. Wexplo plays in any mobile browser. Visitors scan the QR, the audio starts in 1–2 seconds. No App Store, no Play Store, no account creation.

What languages does the QR audio guide support?

Fourteen by default: English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin Chinese, Hebrew, Arabic, Russian, Polish. Each uses a native-accent neural voice. Enterprise customers can add custom translations.

How long does it take to launch?

A free-tier site with five stops can be live the same day. A typical paid-tier site with 20–50 stops takes one or two days, mostly spent on script writing. Audio generation happens in seconds.

How does this compare to rented audio-guide hardware?

Rented hardware costs roughly $8–15 per visitor per year, plus sanitization, inventory, and staffing. Wexplo replaces it with a QR your visitor scans on their own phone, no hardware to buy, sanitize, or replace.

Is it accessibility-compliant?

Every stop ships with a transcript and image alt-text in every language. Built to meet EAA (in force since June 2025), ADA, and WCAG 2.1 AA.
