Wexplo generates stories in over 50 languages including English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Arabic, Hindi, Portuguese, Russian, Dutch, and Hebrew. The AI generates stories natively in your chosen language, not translations.
Does Wexplo work offline?
Yes, Wexplo supports offline mode. Stories you've already generated are cached locally. For new stories, you need an internet connection since they're generated by AI in real-time.

Yes, in two ways. You can ask the AI to build a tour by describing where you want to go and it creates a complete itinerary. You can also use the creator portal at creator.wexplo.ai to build tours manually as a local expert.
Can I use Wexplo with friends?
Yes, Wexplo has a Group Exploration mode. Create a group, share a code with friends, and everyone hears the same stories synchronized together. The host controls playback for the whole group.
What kinds of places does Wexplo know about?
Wexplo knows about millions of places worldwide — castles, churches, museums, parks, monuments, bridges, restaurants, markets, viewpoints, rivers, mountains, and more. It covers everything from famous landmarks to hidden local gems.
Can I choose what types of stories I hear?
Yes, during onboarding you select your interests — history, architecture, art & culture, nature, food & drink, music, sports, science, legends & myths, local stories, famous people, and hidden gems. Wexplo personalizes all stories to match your Explorer DNA.
How does the AI tour builder work?
Tell the AI what city you're visiting and your preferences. For example: “Make me a 2-day tour in Barcelona focused on art and architecture.” The AI creates a complete walking tour with GPS coordinates, stories at every stop, estimated times, and distances.
Is Wexplo available on Android?
Yes, Wexplo is available on both iOS (App Store) and Android (Google Play).
Does Wexplo track my location?
Wexplo uses your location only to detect nearby places and trigger stories. Location data stays on your device and is not sold or shared with third parties. You can revoke location permission at any time in your phone settings.
